Designed to meet the needs of different playing styles, the NX Series offers two body types, the classical style NCX instruments and the contemporary style NTX line. All instruments in the NX Series feature our exclusive ART pickup in a new 2-way configuration and the all-new, nylon-string specific System 61 preamp designed to perfectly capture the dynamics and subtleties of nylon strings. Body Woods
NX guitars are available with Rosewood or Flamed Maple back and sides. Rosewood imparts a warm, rich tone across the guitar's entire range making it suitable for a wide range of styles. Flamed Maple delivers a brighter, crisper tone that cuts through the mix, making it a great choice for lead playing and more percussive styles.
NCX
Taking their design cues from the characteristics of classical guitars, NCX instruments feature a wide, flat fingerboard, classical neck shape, deep body and 12th fret neck joint. Classical players will feel right at home, whilst appreciating the detailed nuances of the amplified tone and the increased playability and fret reach imparted by the cutaway. The line-up includes the NCX2000R/1200R/900R with Rosewood back and sides and the NCX2000FM/900FM with Flamed Maple back and sides.
NTX
Crafted for performance, NTX instruments feature a streamlined, contemporary body and a narrower neck for instant comfort and accessibility. The line-up features the NTX1200R with rosewood back and sides, the NTX900FM with flamed maple, and the NTX700, available in both natural and black finishes.
